The NDP Party supports Canada's toxic tar sands oil development all this time hemp could be cheap to be produced into biodegradable energy, so why invest in non-biodegradable energy sources? If biodegradable energy was cheaper than petroleum then that would ensure a competitive environment, the cost of biodiesel could be cheap with more biodiesel production and other forms of biodegradable energy from Hemp. Why prevent hemp from being cheap? If cannabis was cheap without prohibition then the cost of biodegradable energy could be cheaper.

How this information like this is not on the NDP website already, or any other political party should be up for discussion. Political parties support poison industries and might not have real progress with climate change in mind with growing Hemp. Why destroy the environment for petroleum or natural gas and prevent plants from growing? Politicians need to talk about cannabis healing the environment, energy can be produced from biodegradable sources instead of non-biodegradable sources.
