Housing Crisis in Canada Lack of Houses and Apartments

There is a Housing Crisis in Canada which is being recognized by more politicians and mainstream media is covering this more finally, people who make 6 digits a year are getting over bidded on rentals since even finding a house has become so hard with all the over bidding. Justin Trudeau promised affordable housing for Canadians and failed to deliver on yet another promise. There is currently an 18 year wait to get on government subsidized affordable housing in a single apartment for an individual in Niagara Falls. The Lack of Houses and Apartments can be solved by building more apartments and houses, more competition can lead to cheaper prices which benefits everyone.
