Biden Says Trump and MAGA Republicans Represent an Extremism Threatening the Foundations of the Republic

U.S. President Joe Biden gave a speech on September 1, 2022. He said "equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise." Trans rights are under attack by mostly religious groups and pro-Trump Republicans who are rallying for their support. Trump himself often says transphobic remarks misgenders trans women, and fuels division against trans people with misinformation as there is a rise in hate crimes against trans people. A cis-woman Katie Ledecky years ago swam 9 Seconds faster than Lia Thomas in the 500 Freestyle NCAA, Lia did not swim faster yet Trump acts like trans women are a threat to women's sports without any scientific debate. Trans people often face discrimination, verbal abuse and even violence from extremists who oppose equality. Anti-Trans Bullies fueled by misinformation have been threatening doctors at a Childrens Hospital! Trump has a chance to turn things around and stop the extremism, Trump has a chance to apologize to trans people in a speech and stop the division, we deserve equality, not discrimination and hate. So many people are divided, unbiased media like Ceawe News barely gets any support because people are so divided against Democrats or against Trump supporters.

"Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic." Biden said. "Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology." "But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country." Catholic Medical Association members wrote a majority of Florida's anti-trans reports for Medicaid last year and declared a faith-based commitment opposed to any transition care. Trump and MAGA Republicans are literally causing division and fueling hate crimes with all the anti-trans bills, if Trump and Republicans can't condemn the violence and do something to tell their followers trans people aren't a threat this is a really bad sign for democracy.

If Trump and Republican were serious about defeating Democrats, why are they fueling division and having more Democrat supporters turn out to vote? A lot of people in the U.S. do not vote and extremist policies on both sides are causing more people to turn out, California has been telling people to not charge their electric cars, now it's common sense electric car technology is not cost effective enough for a lot of people, and as bad as fossil fuels are, cheaper prices can lead to replacing fossil fuels quicker. Many Trump supporters reject electric cars which are often made with slave labor in the process and parts from communist China who violate human rights. Democrats should be more careful to not have too radical energy policies that create more Trump supporters who are skeptical about renewable energy. Renewable hemp energy never gets talked about even though there is a global demand for renewable energy, people deserve to be informed with solutions, the policies restricting hemp are anti-competitive and prevent a sustainable cycle of plants healing the environment in the energy production cycle.

Biden said "They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they're working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself."

"MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards — backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love."

"We can't allow violence to be normalized in this country. It’s wrong. We each have to reject political violence with — with all the moral clarity and conviction this nation can muster. Now." In 2020 many Democrats encouraged the same type of behavior we seen at January 6, 2021. There were practically daily riots in Portland for several months in 2020, Democrats never really condemned it until months into the riots, in fact the Mayor of Portland got tear gassed by police when he took part in the "protest" when daily riots were occurring, it was a big mistake to support any protest in that area with riots occurring every night. The fact mainstream media tried to portray the riots as peaceful protest only made Trump supporters trust the media even less. Both Democrats and Republicans need to do more in the future to condemn violence right away.

Trump supporters might think Biden is incoherent and slow, but Biden isn't an idiot he knows most Americans believe in equality and his speech is rallying support for Democrats. If Trump and Republicans were serious they would see trans people not as a threat, but a potential vote if they cut out the hate and division. It will be hard for a lot of LGBT people to trust Trump if he changes, but with the rise of the cost of living and inflation crisis, some people will vote based on who will reduce taxes and reduce the cost of living so it's possible some LGBT will support Trump if he changes and stop the anti-trans narrative. Trump played the YMCA song at his rallies in 2020 before the anti-trans narrative made it's way into Trumps speeches often. Trump should go back more how he was in 2019 where he wasn't as extreme as today, more accepting, no anti-trans narrative literally helping fuel hate crimes.
